AltoStar® real-time PCR reagents
The AltoStar® PCR reagents kits are based on real-time PCR technology, utilizing polymerase chain reaction (PCR) for amplification of specified target sequences and target-specific probes in order to detect amplified DNA or RNA.
AltoStar® sample purification
The AltoStar® Purification Kit 1.5 uses magnetic particle technology and is intended to be used for automated isolation and purification of nucleic acids from specified human specimens for in vitro diagnostic purposes. It permits simultaneous purification of RNA and DNA from multiple sample types.
AltoStar® pretreatment buffer
The AltoStar® pretreatment buffers are intended for the stabilization and liquefaction of specified human specimen for the subsequent isolation and purification of nucleic acids with the AltoStar® Purification Kit 1.5 for in vitro diagnostic purposes.
AltoStar® internal control
The AltoStar® Internal Control 1.5 is intended to be used as a nucleic acid extraction, amplification and detection control for in vitro diagnostic purposes. The AltoStar® Internal Control contains artificial nucleic acids. It is added to lysed samples to enable monitoring of the purification and the subsequent amplification process.
